Genshin Impact // Barbatos Ratatouille


Wonderful day to all of you. Topic of today: Genshin Impact! Ever heard of this one? Maybe under the name Breath of the Waifu? Free2Play, Mobile Game, Gacha and made in China - not really the words most people enjoy hearing, but this game for PC, PS4 and Smartphone really does deserve a chance.


Impressive visuals, interesting element-based combat, which makes you jump between your party members to land the most effective combos, a surprising amount of plot and so much more. One of those 'more's is an extensive cooking system ... guess once, where I might have gotten the inspiration for todays recipe.


I'm making ratatouille, Barbatos Ratatouille to be exact and to be even more exact True Barbatos Ratatouille. In the game you need tone-deaf bard Venti to cook this dish, but no worries, you won't have to gacha gamble to get this rare 5* character. Just follow my instructions and you should be good to go.


 

3 bell peppers 2 garlic cloves

2 carrots 4 potatoes 1 zucchini 1 onion 400gr can of peeled tomatoes salt

pepper

chilli

sage

rosemary

oil

 
  • peel the garlic and cut it into tiny pieces

  • quarter the zucchini lengthwise, deseed it and cut it into chunks

  • finely chop the sage and rosemary

  • peel the onion and cut it into small cubes

  • take out the cores of the bell peppers

  • set aside half a bell pepper aside, preferably a green one

  • peel the remaining bell peppers and cut them into pieces

  • peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks

  • pour some oil into a big, hot pan

  • add all the vegetables, except the potatoes

  • spice with salt, pepper, chilli, sage and rosemary to taste

  • add the canned tomatoes

  • stir thoroughly and let simmer

  • cut the set aside paprika into four strips and twelve triangles

  • pour some oil into a pan on medium heat

  • add the potato sticks and toss them in the oil until they are evenly coated

  • put a lid on the pan and let the potatoes cook for ca 10min

  • take off the lid and increase the temperature

  • fry the potatoes till they’re nice and golden

  • laddle the ratatouille into deep plates and place the potatoes in a circle near the rim

  • place the bell pepper pieces in the shape of the anemo symbol on top

  • Guten Hunger!
